With our gyms and classes being closed due to COVID – 19, our gym class instructors have created some videos and online classes to help you keep active whilst you are at home isolating.
Alice is a Certified Bounce, Total Barre and IDTA Freestyle Dance Teacher. She has created an online hub called ‘FRESH’ which aims to offer a wealth of activities which enhance physical and mental well-being whilst building a community and support network for the local area. Pilates & Yoga

Leyla is a qualified Yoga and Belly Dance teacher. Her classes are designed to give an overall feeling of well-being, with an emphasis on breathing, all-over stretching and core strengthening. Visit her Yoga Facebook page for live classes and videos.
Mel is a fitness instructor that delivers a mixture of activities covering the whole body.She is providing live feeds of her PIYO classes that are designed to strengthen, tone, lose weight, build core and stretch. Su offers Pilates classes via Zoom on Wednesdays at 11am and 9pm. These are open and free to everyone but donations are gratefully appreciated for those who wish to and able to. Marta is a zumba instructor who is offering live streaming of her zumba classes via Google meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays 6pm-7pm and on Saturdays 10.30am-11.30am. She is charging £2.50 to ensure people commit to it and to avoid unfair competition with other instructors. However, Marta will be donating the money to a charity when things return back to normal. Samia is one of our personal trainers at the YMCA gym. She is very passionate about her job and loves to see people happy and smiling.
